Miguel Rajaguru is a multitalented chef. His mixed Indian, Portuguese and Malaysian heritage has inspired him to discover and embrace cultures and cuisines from across the world. Malaccan-born, he found his passion for cooking at an early age, encouraged by his grandmother.
Miguel started cooking seriously when he left home to further education in Australia! Since completing his studies he has travelled and lived around the world, capturing different foods wherever he goes.
Miguel recently won first prize in Couples Come Dine with Me on the UK's Channel 4. As well as cooking he is also a trained Indian classical dancer, teacher of Bollywood and contemporary dance, and an artist. Miguel designs beautiful "rangoli", an ancient Indian art form using coloured rice. He has displayed his artwork around the world, at prestigious organisations and venues.
