IF YOU SIMPLY WANT TO MAKE A DELICIOUS BOWL OF RAMEN without having to go through the lengthly processes of stock making and noodle making, this class is for you!

The class is conducted on zoom and any number of people from the same household can participate on one screen.
We’ll go through the entire process TOGETHER.

You will learn how to make the delicious Hokkaido style miso ramen all from the fresh ingredients.

You will learn how to make:

*Umami rich Hokkaido style miso ramen soup, dash stock made from minced pork and spring onions
*Spicy minced pork niku-miso
*Stir fried beansprouts
*Ramen egg
*How to assemble the ramen together

Akemi Yokoyama is a highly respected Japanese food specialist, chef, presenter, writer, and educator based in London. Her deep knowledge of Japanese food provenance stems from her father’s influence, having grown up foraging and fishing across the island of Hokkaido during her childhood.

A wonderful experience

We had a fantastic time learning to make sushi - the class was really fun and relaxed. I'm not a very good or confident cook but I found the whole experience very enjoyable and satisfying! Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant cooking class

This was the second Sozai cooking class I have done with Akemi. Both were brilliant. Akemi is extremely knowledgeable about Japanese food, and I left both classes with lots of new information about Japanese food.

We made loads of delicious food, most of which we ate at the end of the class but we also got additional to take home. I would definitely recommend this class. The recipes are very approachable but still tasty, and I'm excited to try and replicate them at home. In three hours we managed to cook five dishes, which was really impressive.
