Hi,
This was a Christmas gift for Emma's Mum Sue. I talked to Sue on the phone the day before the booking, I explained that I would be cooking, serving and washing up so all Sue and her guest had to do was dress to impress. We quickly established that the Camembert starter may be too heavy and that the sit down time could be a little late. I suggested Chargrilled asparagus on oven dried tomato, rocket salad with saffron aoli as a starter and that we could bring the time forward to 19:00 ish if that helped.
I was made to feel very welcome in the home, the kitchen was perfect, the hosts and guest were lovely and I was not troubled by the two lovely cats who checked me out, then left me to get on with things.

I had a very enjoyable evening and hope that Sue and her guest did as well. thank you Nigel.
